Sil-Poxy is a one-component adhesive made specifically for bonding silicone rubbers to silicone rubber.

Sil-Poxy will work with silicones and provides a strong, flexible bond between silicone parts with high elongation. Cured adhesive resists weathering, moisture, UV and high temperatures.

Sil-Poxy™ certified skin safe. IMPORTANT - Do not apply to skin in liquid form.

Instructions:

First step – cleaning the surface. A clean, dry surface is essential for successful adhesive bonding. Abrade the surface and follow with a solvent wipe before applying. Therefore, you need to clean the tear and area around it with the alcohol prep pads.



Second step – applying Sil-Poxy adhesive to the damaged area. 

After you clean the surface, you need to apply Sil-Poxy adhesive from our single-use tear tab using the brushes, which are included in the kit.

Important! Use in a properly ventilated area (“room size” ventilation). Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk.

Store and use the material at room temperature (73°F/23°C). This product has a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible.

Applying - Apply adhesive to surface and matte parts. The material will begin to cure in 15 minutes. Pieces can be handled after 1 hour. A full cure is attained after 24 hours. Warmer temperatures (and higher humidity) will result in a faster cure. A lower temperature will slow the cure.

Final step – applying matting powder. After the adhesive is fully dried, please apply matting powder from our single-use tear-tap matting powder bag to remove any glossy spots and to create a perfectly smooth surface.
