Frequently Asked Questions
What underwear works best with Emisil STP packers?
TRUHK packing underwear is fully compatible with all Emisil STP prosthetics. The 3-layer pocket system holds the STP funnel securely against the body through the interior pocket, locks the shaft in position with the center O-ring panel, and provides an open front pouch for quick, discreet access at urinals. Both the boxer and brief styles offer the same STP functionality.
Do TRUHK boxers work for daily packing?
Yes, TRUHK boxers are specifically designed for all-day wear. The bamboo fabric is breathable, moisture-wicking, and naturally hypoallergenic, so they stay comfortable for 12+ hours. The built-in pouch keeps your soft packer or STP device stable through sitting, walking, bending, and even light exercise without needing readjustment.
What size packing underwear should I get?
TRUHK uses standard men's waist sizing (S through XL). Measure your natural waist at its narrowest point, typically just above the hip bones, and compare with the size chart on the product page. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort. Packing underwear that is too tight can cause the packer to shift upward or press uncomfortably against the body.
Can I use packing underwear for swimming?
Packing underwear can serve as your secure base layer under swim trunks. Wear tight packing briefs as the first layer to hold the packer in place, add compression shorts or a second snug layer if needed, then put your regular swimwear on top. Bamboo fabric dries relatively quickly, but for frequent swimming you may want a dedicated pair. Silicone packers handle water exposure without any issues.
What is the difference between packing underwear and a harness?
Packing underwear is an all-in-one garment that replaces your regular underwear and holds the packer using built-in pouches. A packer harness is a strap-based system worn underneath any underwear, offering maximum hold during sports or high-impact activities. Most people prefer underwear for daily comfort and convenience, while harnesses are better for intense physical activity where extra security is needed. You can also combine both: wear a harness for the hold, with packing underwear on top for added stability.
